How do I prepare for my KERATIN TREATMENT?

You don’t need to do anything to prepare for a keratin treatment.

How long does a keratin treatment take?

It all depends on the length and thickness of your hair. For short fine hair it averages around 3.5 hours. For long, thick hair around 5 hours.

how long will my keratin treatment last?

It lasts an average of 9-12 months. Unless you have very curly hair that starts from the root. You will have to touch it up within 6-7 months.

does your keratin treatment dry out or damage the hair?

On the contrary it will give you the softest, shiniest hair. You will notice that your hair will grow with less breakage at the ends because you are literally giving your hair a break. No more flat irons will do wonders on your hair!

Do I need to use special products after doing my keratin treatment?

Yes. You need to use products that are Sulphate-Free.

will I lose my curls with a keratin treatment?

Our keratin is a formaldehyde-free smoothing treatment. The results depend on the natural texture of your hair.

If you have straight-ish frizzy hair then your results will be straight.

If you have medium curly/frizzy hair then your hair will become straight but with movement, not stick straight. So if you want to blowdry it with waves, you can and the curls will hold. At the same time if you want it super straight, you can air dry it till it’s about 90% dry and then finish it off with a round brush to make it sleek straight.

If you have very curly/frizzy hair your results will be a much looser curl without the frizz. Kind of a loose beach wave look. To make it sleek straight you need to air dry your hair till it’s 90% dry and then finish it with a round brush. Your hair will dry super straight without the puffiness of very thick hair when you would usually blow dry it straight. It will last like this until you wash it. Bye bye Frizz!!
